this is one great tool belt. i recently purchased a new belt and paid the same price as this at the local big box store. i did not get nearly as many pockets and this thick quality leather. there was not a stitch out of place and every rivet was perfect with a plastic washer behind it to protect the leather. if you want a heavy duty, well made, perfect tool belt, that will last several lifetimes, this is your belt. the padded backing seems like a waste as the bags sit over most of it and compress it. though it may be useful to those that wear one 8-10 hours a day. this will be my new go to belt (wish I could return the other one I bought)
